Social media is mourning the passing of an individual who lost his life in a car crash. A Rainier man named Austin Nash died in a car crash. Austin Nash was a 28-years-old at the time of his death. According to the sources, he died in a car crash Monday, January 10, 2022.
The news of his passing was officially shared by his family through a Facebook post in which they mentioned that they lost their child. The incident took place on Monday night in a head-0n collision that closed U.S. 30 in Columbia County for three hours, said police.
What Was Austin Nash Cause of Death?
His sudden passing was a big shock for his family and friends. Nash has a beautiful family including a father, mother, a wife, and a beautiful child. His family shared some memories on Facebook that show his wonderful life with the family. But unfortunately, a beautiful member of a family left his family behind.
Oregon State Police said that Austin Nash was driving eastbound near mile spot 59 around 9 PM when he lost his control over his Toyota Camry and crashed into another Ford Explorer driving the opposite direction, killing him, reported officials.
Well, the driver of another car, Ford Explorer saved in this accident and he was identified by the police as Brendan Smith, 29, from Clatskanie.
He was uninjured in this horrific accident but Austin couldn’t survive in the accident and succumbed on the spot. The U.S. 30 was closed at the time for more than 3 hours after the crash took place.
How Did Austin Nash Die?
We don’t have much details about his death but he was a bright student at his high school time complied over 1,000 receiving yards as a senior in 2015. Twice captained… Four-year letterers helped lead Grayson HS to four consecutive District 7A-6 championships… Coached by Mickey Conn. He also played baseball in High School for two seasons and was a member of the National Honor Society.
Austin’s mother Nancy Nafus Nash shared a statement,” The saddest day of my life to find out that I won’t be able to hug my son, hear his laugh or share funny kids stories.
It breaks my heart that his children won’t know this sweet caring man, in person. That we will have to share our memories of him, with them. His life was just starting. He was to young to leave us. I will always love you. I wish I’d told you more”.
With this, Nancy Nafus Nash shared funeral and memorial services through her Facebook account. Memorial service will be held on February 5th 2 PM at Alston’s Corner Assembly Church, 25271 Alston Rd, Rainier, OR 97048.
